This week employees from RedBull came to speak to us about their awesome product promise, RedBull’s success and the many ways it allows consumers to interact with the brand. You could tell that Mike from Human Resources and Allie and Keith from Field Marketing were passionate about working at RedBull, drinking their own product as they presented.
“Red Bull vitalizes body and mind” – Product Promise
Founded in Austria, RedBull has been successful since its 1997 introduction to the USA. There have been over 35 billion cans consumed and 1.1 million consumers have sampled. Not only does RedBull have its energy drink but also other various aspects of its brand, including Media House, Racing, TV, its Music Academy, Magazine, and Sound Select. Despite its big barrier being flavor, RedBull currently sells its drink in 167 countries.
Field Marketers, like Allie and Keith get to work with the beverage as well as other parts of the brand, giving their jobs a unique description. As a field marketer you do product marketing, event marketing and production, budget management, opinion leader marketing, strategic planning, relationship building, etc. So if you’re someone who wants to experience multiple marketing avenues, RedBull might be the place for you.
